Ongoing Support

Design, delivery and installation are just the beginning. We offer comprehensive maintenance and support for all playground systems we supply. Our services extend to inspections and audits to provide the comfort of knowing that your playground and playground equipment is safe and compliant, or requires maintenance to restore it to a compliant state.

Respect for the environment

With the future of all our children in mind A-Play is committed to sustainable environmental practices. This is reflected in our choice of materials, manufacturing practices and business processes.

We use Australian steel wherever possible which, apart from limiting freight miles, contains a high recycled content and lasts for decades. Instead of wet spray paints which contain dangerous solvents, we use powder coating which provides a quality, durable finish. This gives us a cleaner shop floor, healthier workforce and less potential for fire.

Where we can we use recycled plastics and all plastics in our play equipment products are recyclable. And of course if we have to remove a playground we will endeavour to recycle all components.

Innovation

We’re continually developing new designs and products to improve the quality and variety of a child’s play experiences. All products are subjected to rigorous research, development and testing before being added to our range.

Safety

Safety is a core driver of our business. Beyond meeting stringent Australian Standards we operate our own Quality Assurance systems. A-Play play equipment complies with the following Australian standards as a minimum: Australian Standards 4685:2004 (parts 1 – 6)

Quality

We employ detailed quality practices, including rigorously checking all equipment before it leaves our factory and after installation by our installers. A-Play has achieved certification to ISO9001 (certificate no. FS556922).

Durability

We design and build playground systems to last. We use quality materials and finishes that minimise attempts at vandalism.
